Le Mont habité is a public artwork by Manuel Mathieu conceived as a monumental mosaic integrated into the REM transit space. Drawing on landscape, memory, and spiritual presence, the composition evokes a living mountain animated by invisible forces. Rooted in place yet open to imagination, the work transforms a site of passage into a contemplative space where collective history, nature, and inner experience converge.
